The fresh spell of snowfall had started yesterday afternoon, trapping over 600 vehicles vehicles on roads.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said that efforts are underway for safe and sound passage of the stranded vehicles, according to media reports.
The stranded tourists complained that no arrangements have been made to clear the roads of snow and they were running out of food items among other vital equipment needed in such weather, the reports said.
The fresh spell of rains, snowfall turned the weather cold in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Peshawar and other areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have also been receiving heavy to light rainfall for the past few hours.
