"We hope that if Vajpayee's policy (on Kashmir) is revisited, many a ways will open up to move ahead but it is to be seen whether the government is ready to revisit that policy and come out with a programme. And if such a programme will be chalked out, there will be a positive response from our side," Mirwaiz told reporters here.
"The government has to decide how they will engage Hurriyat and Pakistan and other stakeholders. Our stand is clear that we are in favour of dialogue but first there is a need to dispel the confusion that is New Delhi serious in moving forward?
"There are still many issues like AFSPA. We hope if steps are taken to resolve such issues and an initiative is taken we will welcome such a move. So far there is no such initiative," he said.
