The existing tariffs was approved till March 31 by Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA).
Aeronautical services include those rendered for cargo facility, ground handling and supply of fuel to the aircraft.
The watchdog has allowed various airports to continue to levy existing rates for another six months or till the regulator comes out with the new tariff structure.
It would be applicable for Hyderabad, Bangalore and Cochin airports as well as major airports operated by Airports Authority of India (AAI). Independent entities offering aeronautical services at these airports would also have to comply.
In an order, AERA had said that certain airports can "continue to charge the tariffs as prevalent on March 31, 2016 for a period of six months with effect from April 1, 2016 or till determination of tariffs for second control period, whichever is earlier".
These three airports are run on public-private partnership basis.
