Innofest is conceptualised to celebrate innovative ideas/prototypes/projects in technology and to provide a solid support system to the innovations ecosystem at the grassroots, according to a statement.
"The event is an attempt to uncover and showcase new ideas, innovations and creative projects from across the spectrum such as start-ups, large companies, R&D groups, research labs, academic institutions and grass-root innovations," it said.
Hyderabad is the second city to host Innofest after Bengaluru earlier this year.
Innofest would have various programmes like MakerSpace, Product Zone, Hall of Fame, Townhall, Young Innovators Zone and eminent speakers across a galaxy of disciplines including start-ups, research labs, academia, college projects and grassroot innovation, the statement added.
