The 38-year-old actress said that she was not one the pupils who would get picked first when it came to choosing teams in physical education, reported Contactmusic.
"I wasn't particularly athletic. No one ever thought, 'I must have Kate on my team'," she said.
Beckinsale also said that thought she is known for playing tough roles on the big screen, she is just the opposite in real life.
"It's slightly strange being predominantly known for something that's not necessarily my sensibility," she added.
