The 51-year-old star apparently could not collaborate with Jackie for "Kung Fu Yoga" due to date issues as he had to shoot for "Dangal".
"I love Aamir Khan. He was busy with his own films when we were to do this film ('Kung Fu Yoga'). He was doing 'Dangal', I haven't seen the film yet but I would love to. If in future there is something for Aamir, I will definitely work with him," Stanley told PTI.
The action adventure comedy film now stars Sonu Sood besides Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur.
"For me the actor should fit the role. It doesn't matter how big or small is the star. If the actor doesn't fit the role then it doesn't work. I go by who suits the role," Stanley explained.
Recently Chan was here to promote the movie which is set to release on February 3.
