ICT team leaves for Bangalore to exchange know-how

A seven-member Nepalese delegation has left for Bangalore on a three-day exchange visit to learn from the progress made by India in the Information and Communication Technology sector.
"Nepal can benefit a lot if Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can be used in agriculture sector to increase productivity and India is willing to collaborate with Nepal in this sector as well as sharing its expertise and knowledge," said Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae.
Bidding farewell to the delegation comprising members from the ICT Association of Nepal amidst a function here yesterday, Ambassador Rae also hailed the government of Nepal's efforts to promote IT and Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) sector for attaining economic progress for the country.
The delegation will also visit IT parks of India and meet top ICT experts of India during the trip.
