"There is an acute shortage of trained and qualified hospital and health managers in the country. Our programme is designed to meet this need and give students the skills to effectively lead in today's changing global environment," IIHMR Dean Dr Ashok Agrawal told reporters here.
The institute offers two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma programmes in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHM), which was approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), he said.
There is a wide gap between demand and supply for trained health care administrators to work for hopsitals and other health care provider organisations, he said.
