IL&FS Transportation Networks raises Rs 225 cr through NCDs

With the latest round of fund raising, the company has raised a total of Rs 2,355 crore

IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd today said it has raised Rs 225 crore through issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis.

With the latest round of fund raising, the company has raised a total of Rs 2,355 crore.

"The Committee of Directors approved the allotment of 2,250 rated, listed, redeemable, non-convertible debentures of the face value of Rs 10,00,000, aggregating to Rs 225 crore on a private placement basis on April 27, 2015," IL&FS Transportation Networks said in a BSE filing.

The company said it had earlier issued 21,300 debentures of Rs 10,00,000 each, aggregating to Rs 2,130 crore.

"With the aforesaid allotment, the company has, as of date, issued and allotted 23,550 debentures of Rs 10,00,000 each, aggregating to Rs 2,355 crore," it added.

IL&FS Transportation Networks shares were trading 0.06 per cent up at Rs 169.30 apiece during afternoon session on the BSE.
