Illicit arms manufacturing unit busted

Police today claimed to have busted an illicit arms manufacturing unit near here with the seizure of equipment like drilling machine and cutting tools.
However, the manufacturer managed to evade police and is absconding, police said.
Police also seized wooden butts, pipes, iron files and and other equipment.
