Announcing his decision, Mohammed said he has taken the decision in the larger interest of the development of Nagrota.
"Nagrota is on the path of progress and prosperity and with Devender Singh Rana representing it, I am confident about its faster development," he said.
"I am convinced that the day is not far when we the people of Nagrota will witness development taking new dimension with impetus on infrastructural development in key sectors like roads, bridges, irrigation and public health engineering besides improvement in service sectors like education and health," he added.
