The loop from from Wazirabad to ISBT was opened by Delhi Tourism Minister Jitender Singh Tomar.
The project is expected to be completed by next March and the rest of the loops will now become functional at the end of the project only.
According to an official, this independent loop at Wazirabad will add to Delhi's skyline.
The opening of this new pathway will not only curb the crammed traffic situation in the area but will reduce the time taken to travel from Wazirabad to the ISBT.
This new loop will now do away with the need to take a necessary U-turn at the Outer Ring Road and cut the travel time by nearly 20 minutes.
Tomar said that Delhi Tourism's Signature Bridge will be the new architectural marvel in the city.
The bridge is being built with a view to make it the landmark bridge of the city that will beautify the city as well as ease traffic conditions for regular commutation.
