India end Day 2 at 49/1 in second innings, lead SA by 42 runs

India were 49 for one in their second innings at stumps on the second day of the third cricket Test against South Africa, here today.
Resuming their second innings trailing by just seven runs, India lost Parthiv Patel early before Murali Vijay and KL Rahul steadied the ship.
India now lead South Africa by 42 runs with nine wickets in hand and three full days play still remaining.

India: 187 & 49 for one in 17 overs (Parthiv Patel 16, KL Rahul 16 not out, Murali Vijay 13 not out; Vernon Philander 1/11).
South Africa: 194 all out in 65.5 overs (Hashim Amla 61, Vernon Philander 35; Jasprit Bumrah 5/54, Bhuvneshwar Kumar 3/44).
