Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria said that India submitted its memorial on Jadhav case in the ICJ yesterday while Pakistan will submit its counter memorial by December 13.
"India is trying to bring out the humanitarian aspect of a person who has made a public confession on how he was launched by India to carry out subversive and terrorist activities in Pakistan," he alleged.
Zakaria said Jadhav, 46, has confessed many terrorist attacks within Pakistan and India is trying to divert international community's attention from the real issue.
Jadhav was sentenced to death by a military court for "espionage and sabotage activities" in a "farce" trial early this year. Pakistan Army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa approved his execution.
Pakistan claims its security forces arrested Jadhav from the restive Balochistan province on March 3 last year after he reportedly entered from Iran. However, India maintains that he was kidnapped from Iran where he had business interests after retiring from the Indian Navy.
