Two foreigners, including an Indian national, have been arrested in Nepal on charges of drugs trafficking on Tuesday, police said.
Roshan Kumar Gupta, 25, a resident of Raxaul in the outskirt of Kathmandu, was arrested along with narcotic drugs, police said.
The police recovered 280 capsules of phenargon, 280 ampules of dyzepam and 280 ampules of Norphin from him and have started further investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a British national was arrested from the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
Ian George Paul was carrying 3 kg 49 gram hashish when he was arrested on Tuesday. The police recovered the drug in his hand bag during a security check when he was about to board the Bangkok-bound airplane.
