"If every thing can be done in six or seven months, what had you (Congress) been doing in 50 years? If you can remember, I request you remember how many years you ruled this country and the state (AP). Power was given to you from Delhi to 'gali' (streets), from Parliament to panchayat, I ask what did you do," the Urban Development minister said.
The minister's remarks came against the backdrop of criticism of Congress that BJP failed to deliver their electoral promises in their respective ruling states and in Andhra Pradesh, where it alleged that BJP and TDP reneged from their commitments made during reorganisation of the undivided state.
He said efforts are on to provide what was 'justifiably' due to Andhra Pradesh from the Centre.
"We will make efforts to get what is justifiably due to AP from the Centre. We have got some," he added.
