IPL betting rackets busted in Hyderabad, Nellore

Andhra Pradesh police today claimed to have busted two IPL betting rackets with the arrest of 13 people in separate raids in Hyderabad and Nellore.
Saroornagar police raided an apartment in Tirumala Nagar here late last night and arrested seven persons. The police team seized four laptops, 18 cellphones, a TV set, betting slips and Rs 19,600 in cash, DCP C Ravi Varma said.
The seven men have been booked under relevant sections of Andhra Pradesh Gaming Act, he said.
In Nellore town, police arrested six persons in Nellore town and seized Rs 3.14 lakh cash and 11 cellphones besides other equipment.
