ISI agent produced before court

A suspected ISI agent, Asif Ali, who is lodged in a jail here, was today produced before a local court amid tight security.
The court has fixed October 5 for the next date of hearing.
Ali, 52, was arrested by the Special Task Force of the UP Police from Subash Bazar area on August 16, 2014. Police had recovered a number of documents from his possession including pass books and debit cards of Indian and Pakistani banks.
During interrogation, Ali had confessed to being an ISI agent. He used to pass information about the Indian Army to the ISI and also financially support other local ISI agents.
