The four trekkers of a six-member expedition team, who were on their way from Manikaran to Kaza, had gone missing yesterday evening. They were traced at Shorang Kaanda and Rupi Kanda in Kinnaur district and rescued by a team of ITBP with the help of state police, a senior officer said.
A 15-member team, led by Station House Officer (Bhawanagar) Prakesh Negi reached the area last evening but could not locate the trekkers due to darkness, he said.
The teams were sent to Rupi and Shorang. Amit was rescued from from Rupi and Vishal, Praveen and Vivek from Shorang Kanda, the officer said.
