The CGDA, which operates under theDefence Ministry, heads the Defence Accounts Department (DAD). It is the cadre controlling authority of theIndian defence accounts service.
Under this pact, ITDC's travel wing Ashok Travels and Tours will conduct the procedure for CGDA to create an e- ticketing platform for smooth functioning of air travel needs, ITDC said in a statement.
"Our talented team of Ashok Travels and Tours will put their best foot forward to meet the expectations of CGDA," ITDC Chairperson Managing Director (CMD) Ravneet Kaur said.
ITDC, a public sector undertaking under the aegis of Ministry of Tourism, is in the business of hotels, ticketing, tours and travels, event management and duty-free shopping, among others.
