J-K govt transfers 8 deputy commissioners

Jammu and Kashmir government today transferred eight deputy commissioners, including three from the districts in south Kashmir which has witnessed an increase in violence in the recent past.
The government issued the orders for transfer of 16 officers, which include eight deputy commissioners.
Among those transferred are the deputy commissioners of Kulgam, Pulwama and Shopian in south Kashmir.
Showkat Aijaz Bhat, deputy commissioner Kulgam, has been transferred and posted as director, area planning and ex- officio special secretary to the government, an order issued by the state general administration department said here.
Talat Parvez Rohella, who was mission director, ICDS, J- K, has been transferred and posted in Bhat's place.
Munir-ul-Islam, deputy commissioner, Pulwama, has been transferred and posted as director, Information department, relieving Arun Kumar Manhas of the additional charge of the post, the order read.
Ghulam Mohammad Dar, deputy commissioner, Kupwara, has been transferred and posted as deputy commissioner Pulwama.
Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, deputy commissioner Shopian, has been transferred and posted as additional director, SKIMS and ex-officio special secretary to the government, the order said, adding Mohammad Aijaz, deputy commissioner, Ramban, has been transferred and posted in Qadri's place.
The other deputy commissioners transferred are Tariq Hussain Ganai, deputy commissioner, Ganderbal, who has been posted as deputy commissioner, Ramban and Mohammad Harun, deputy commissioner, Poonch, who has been transferred and posted as deputy commissioner, Budgam.
Piyush Singla, additional chief executive officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, has been transferred and posted as deputy commissioner, Ganderbal, while Tariq Ahmad Zargar, mission director, Rashtriya Uchachatar Shiksha Abhiyan, has been transferred and posted as deputy commissioner, Poonch and Khalid Jahangir, additional secretary to the government, home department, has been transferred and posted as deputy commissioner, Kupwara.
Sarmad Hafeez, labour commissioner, J-K, has been transferred and posted as managing director, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation, relieving director, Tourism, Kashmir of the additional charge of the post.
Abdul Rashid, director, stationery and office supplies, Jammu and Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as labour commissioner, J-K and Anshul Garg, additional deputy commissioner, Budgam, has been transferred and posted as additional chief executive officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
Sunita Anand, additional commissioner (Central) in the office of financial commissioner, Revenue, has been transferred and posted as secretary, J-K Public Service Commission, vice Shakeel-ul-Rehman Rather, has been transferred and posted as special secretary to the government, Finance Department, the order read.
