J-K: Minor crushed to death by pitch roller

A minor boy was crushed to death by a pitch roller in Handwara area of Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir today, police said.
Nine-year-old Irfan Ahmed Sofi came under a pitch roller while playing cricket at Maidan Chogal in the area, they said.
Later, the victim succumbed to his injuries while he was being taken to hospital, police added.
