J-K to soon have maiden Media Advisory Committee: Zulfkar

Jammu and Kashmir Information Minister Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali today said a State Media Advisory Committee (SMAC) will be constituted soon to address the issues confronting journalists.
He also asserted that the state government was taking various measures to facilitate hassle-free discharge of professional duties by journalists.
The Jammu and Kashmir government strongly believes in the freedom of expression guaranteed by the Constitution, the minister said during an interaction with reporters at the Jammu Press Club.
