Hollywood star Will Smith's son Jaden Smith has shot with poisonous snakes and dangerous animals in the jungles of Costa Rica for his upcoming sci-fi adventure film "After Earth".
The film helmed by Indian origin director M Night Shyamalan is set in the future where mankind has fled Earth.
The father-son duo play estranged father and son military men who crash-land on the abandoned planet.
"There were a couple of scenes that represented probably my individual worst display of parenting in cinematic history. A couple of those, if I had to do again, I would have done a little differently," Will said in a statement.
Will and his 14-year-old actor son is known to have shot a scene on a tree riddled with poisonous snakes.
"There are these snakes called fer-de-lances, and a fer-de-lance is the second most poisonous snake on Earth. We had snake wranglers on the set, six guys (who) would just walk around all the time and go thump!
"So there was a scene, and the snake wrangler came over and said, 'You know the tree that Jaden's about to do the shot in? We got, uh, a few snakes. 'I said, 'Well, like two?' Jaden comes on the set and I was like, 'Well, let's just roll, we're here. Jaden, quick, just get up there, just get the scene! Now that I think about it, we shouldn't have done a couple of those shots," Will added.
The film is slated for a release on June 7.
