The incident occurred on March 18 when unidentified persons abducted the sadhvi from her father's house and took her to the place of one Ashok Dhobi who stays nearby, they said.
Dhobi was arrested today for alleged molestation and brutal assault on the sadhvi who suffered three fractures and is said to be in a serious condition.
Meanwhile, a Jain Samaj spokesperson expressed concern over the brutal attack. "I have forwarded a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan through the Naib Tahsildar regarding the incident", said the spokesperson, Lalit Jain.
"We will spare none and soon arrest the remaining culprits involved in the incident", said IG (Chambal range) S M Afzal.
