Pandurangan, a former member of the Jayalalithaa cabinet, was among the defence witnesses whose evidence was recorded.
Judge M S Balakrishna then adjourned the matter to tomorrow for further recording of evidence of the defence witnesses and their cross examination.
The case relates to alleged accumulation of wealth of Rs 66.65 crore disproportionate to her known sources of income when Jayalalithaa was the Chief Minister for the first time from 1991 to 1996. It was transferred from a Chennai court to Bangalore by the Supreme Court in November, 2003 on a petition by DMK General Secretary K Anbazhagan.
