"Coming to the issue of alliance in the Lok Sabha polls, I have already stated very clear several times. The aim of the AIADMK is to win all the 40 seats - 39 seats in Tamil Nadu and one in Puducherry for itself. So where is the question of any alliance," the AIADMK supremo told reporters here.
She said this when asked whether developments in BJP after elevation of the Gujarat Chief Minister would affect the possible electoral ties with that party in Lok Sabha polls.
The AIADMK chief termed as "internal matter of BJP" the resignation of L K Advani from key party positions.
"Whatever has happened is purely is an internal matter of BJP party. Politically, I do not think it would be proper for me to make any kind of comment on it," she said in a similar vein earlier in the day in Chennai when asked about Modi's elevation in BJP.
