"On behalf of the people of Tamil Nadu, I convey our greetings and best wishes to the people of Andhra Pradesh on this memorable occasion," she said in a letter to her AP counterpart, N Chandrababu Naidu.
She hoped "that this will be the commencement of a new era of prosperity and growth for the people of Andhra Pradesh. "I wish the function all success," she said.
She also congratulatd Naidu for his "efforts in making this a reality.
