Jaya orders solatium to kin of jawan killed in Arunachal

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today announced an assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the family of a Lance Havildar, from the state who died in an accident while on duty in Arunachal Pradesh recently.
C Ramasamy of a 10-Madras Regiment, hailing from Bodinayanapalli village in Krishnagiri district, died in a mishap while guarding the borders in Jaswantgarh in Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh on May 19, an official release said.
Jayalalithaa expressed deep condolences to the family and announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh, it added.
