At present, the airline operates a smaller Airbus A330-200 aircraft with 34 seats in Premiere (business) and 259 seats in Economy class.
The Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, which will be deployed on this sector, will have three-class configuration with 8 first class suites, 30 premiere flat beds and 308 economy seats.
Jet Airways is the only airline that flies daily non-stop between Mumbai and Amsterdam, which is also the new hub for its operations to Europe and beyond.
Jet had launched the daily flight service from Mumbai to Amsterdam in March.
The capacity increase is in response to growing demand, particularly from business and corporate travellers, the airline said.
From Amsterdam, the airline offers connectivity to 30 destinations across Europe and 11 destinations in the United States and Canada through its codeshare partnership with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Delta Air Lines.
