Jharkhand government committed to promote Hindi: CM

Hindi has become second largest spoken language in the world and the state government has already intended to link it with education and employment, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said today.
"...We know why Hindi or any other Indian language is lagging behind, and we have decided to remove those reasons. So we have decided to link education and job with Hindi language," Das said here.
Opining that English grew in the era of economic liberalization and global marketing in the nineties, Das, felt this situation would change and that his government has decided to correspond only in Hindi.
Das, who was speaking on the occasion of 'Hindi Diwas', said the BJP-led government has given attention in linking Hindi with education and job and "you (people) too make effort" in this regard.

Stating both Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose had adopted Hindi during the struggle for freedom, Das lauded and commended all languages in India and advocated respecting one's mother tongue as pride and identity were attached to it.
Referring to the Hindi Conference held in Bhopal recently, Das said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in that function that three languages - Chinese, English and Hindi - would conquer the world in the coming days.
Appealing to bureaucrats and the people to do their work in Hindi, Das, however, said no other language should be neglected.
