Jharkhand to initiate action against retd police officer

Jharkhand government today said action will be taken against retired state police chief G S Rath in connection with a corruption case.
The assurance came from Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Prasad Singh when opposition Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric) MLA Pradip Yadav raised the issue during Zero Hour in the House.
He said the government was pondering over how to proceed in a police recruitment case against Rath as he is retired from the service.
