JK Govt promotes 4,254 PG masters and teachers

Jammu and Kashmir government today ordered promotions of 4,254 teachers in the state school education department.
On the approval of Deputy Chief Minister, the Secretary School Education department has ordered promotion of 1,408 eligible Post Graduate teachers as in-charge Lecturers in different disciplines today, an official spokesman said here.
In addition, the Director, School Education Kashmir has promoted 1,500 teachers and Director, School Education, Jammu has promoted 1,346 teachers to Masters grade, the spokesman added.
