Mercury, who was the lead vocalist and songwriter of Queen, died on November 24, 1991.
Dave Grohl, founder and frontman of Foo Fighters, told the audience at their Milton Keynes show, that sharing stage with Queen and Led Zeppelin members was a rare occasionn, calling them "superdupergroup", reported Entertainment Weekly.
"I don't know if you all have ever seen a supergroup... This is a superdupergroup. I don't even know what to say because something like this doesn't happen every day.
The 1981 song, recorded by Queen and David Bowie, was later added in the 1982 album "Hot Space".
