Journalist shot at by unidentified persons in UP

A journalist was seriously injured after he was allegedly shot at by three unidentified persons in Kandhla town of Shamli district, police said today.
Vinay Balyan, a journalist working at Hindi daily Amar Ujala, was shot at by three bike-borne persons while he was returning home last night, said Vijay Bhushan, SP, Shamli.
He was rushed to the hospital where his condition was stated to be stable, he said, adding, a case has been registered in this connection and efforts are on to nab the accused.
