JPPF also demanded implementation of 73rd and 74th constitutional amendment to panchayats in the state.
"We express concern and anguish over the stray killing of innocent Panches and Sarpanches in Kashmir Valley resulting in en masse resignations," JPPF president, Thakur Pavitter Singh Bhardwaj said.
He expressed sympathy with the bereaved families.
Bhardwaj appealed to the government to extend sufficient security cover to the elected Panches and Sarpanches in the state.
