Led by the JPPF president Pavitar Singh, members of 47 different organisations gathered here to protest against the state government and alleged that the Jammu region was being neglected under the Omar-led government.
The activists and representatives of various social, political and traders' organisations accused the government of discrimination in allocation of funds for development Jammu region and its tourist spots like Reasi, Poonch, Rajouri, Kishtwar, Doda, Bhaderwah etc.
They also demanded adequate security to panches and sarpanches, solution to the problems of POK refugees, allowance to unemployed youths among other such demands for people in Jammu region.
