Actress Julia Roberts has revealed she shot her scenes for her part in upcoming film "Mother's Day" in just four days.
The star teamed up with long-time collaborator director Garry Marshall to portray Miranda Collins in the film, which is about a group of seemingly unconnected people as they come to terms with the relationships they have with their mothers.
The comedy also stars Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Jason Sudeikis and Jon Lovitz.
Speaking about the film's production, Julia said she likes to shoot efficiently as possible, something that is made even easier due to the fact she trusts Garry implicitly, after working with him on 1990's "Pretty Woman", 1999's "Runaway Bride" and "Valentine's Day" (2010), reported Contactmusic.
"We knew what we were trying to accomplish, and Garry has a tendency to put me out there and leave me out there and just keep shouting from the darkness like, 'Do it again! Do it better! Do it faster! Do it funnier!' And things come up.
"That's the thing with Garry. I feel so safe with him, and I know that he knows better than anyone on the planet Earth what's funny."
The 48-year-old adds that after years of working together, Garry, 81, understands how she likes to work but even with her years of experience she still looks to the veteran director for guidance and wants the "same amount of encouragement".
"Mother's Day" is set to hit US theatres on April 29 and UK screens on June 10.
