The recipients, including 2 battle casualties, 7 gallantry awardees and 18 distinguished service medallists, were felicitated and honoured at Raj Niwas.
Jung released the 'Flag Day' brochure of Rajya Sainik Board of the Delhi government and urged everyone to contribute generously to the cause of rehabilitation and welfare of ex-servicemen and their families.
"It is a great honour for us to felicitate the awardees who have rendered distinguished service to the nation. Their sacrifices are many and so are our debts to them," he said at the event.
