Amarjeet Singh, 40, a junk dealer from Maya Puri, was held when the vehicle he had brought for dismantling was found to be recently stolen from Civil Lines area in Gurgaon.
The Hari Nagar police, which had constituted a team to keep a strict vigil on activities in the area's junk markets, had received information yesterday that a dealer would be bringing a stolen car to the junk market near DMS Block.
Acting on the tip off, the team arrested Amarjeet.
