JUSCO team to go along with TRC for J&K relief work

Jamshedpur Utility and Services Company (Jusco), a subsidiary of Tata Steel, today said the company officers would go along with the Tata Relief Committee (TRC) team to take part in the rehabilitation work for the devastating flood that affected a large number of families in Jammu and Kashmir recently.
Besides, Jusco would also work with Jamshedpur Citizen Forum, a local social organization of the city, to collect funds from various section of the society, institutions, corporate and others for the rehabilitation work and the fund to be collected would be handed over to the TRC, said Rajesh Rajan, Chief of Corporate Communication of Jusco, here.
Rajan said Jusco has always cared for the society and community in and around its operational area but at the same time it has also shared the responsibility as a corporate citizen for any natural calamity or disaster that had taken place in India.
Last time, JUSCO officers' had contributed their one day basic salary to TRC during the Uttarakhand disaster, he said adding that this time also the utility and services company came forward to take the lead in Jamshedpur.
Jusco has issued a circular requesting all its officers to voluntarily contribute one day basic salary to TRC for the rehabilitation work at Jammu and Kashmir.
The officers from Jusco would go along with the TRC team to Jammu and Kashmir to work for the rehabilitation of the affected families, he said.
