Bieber has been close to his father even though Jeremy split from his mother Patti, reported Daily Mirror.
"My boy Justin Bieber flew all the way home to be with me for my surgery. What an incredible boy. Love," Bieber's father wrote on Twitter.
Jeremy still lives in Stratford, Ontario, where his 19-year-old superstar son grew up-with his wife and Bieber's half-brother, Jaxon, and half-sister, Jazmyn.
