Kairana Assembly bypolls: 60 pc voter turnout, voting peaceful

Around 60 per cent voter turnout was recorded in Kairana Assembly bypolls today, which largely remain peaceful, officials said here.
Additional District Magistrate and Assistant District Election Officer Bhagatji Pandey said that poll was peaceful in Kairana Assembly bypolls which was held today and 60 per cent voting was estimated.
Meanwhile, there were reports of clash between Congress and ruling Samajwadi Party supporters in Nagla Nai village under Jhinjhana police station and in Ramda village under Kairana constituency, but official sources said the incidents were not related to polling.
