"The Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco and tennis player husband Ryan Sweeting have called it quits after nearly two years of marriage.
A representative for Cuoco, 29, confirmed on September 25 that the couple has decided to divorce, reported People magazine.
"Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter," the representative said.
The actress removed all photos involving Sweeting from her social media accounts prior to the divorce announcement.
Sweeting completely cleaned up all photos from his Instagram account and deactivated his Facebook page.
The couple tied the knot in December 2013, just three months after they started dating.
On the first anniversary of their marriage, Cuoco praised her husband for his love and support, "One year ago today I married someone who truly changed my life. Ryan, you are kind, gentle, patient, giving, silly, and the most loving creature on earth. You are my everything. Happy 1 year anniversary my love."
Earlier this year, the pair hit back against the rumours of marriage troubles with Cuoco taking to Instagram in April to deny the rumours.
At that time, she posted a now-deleted snap of her husband. She captioned it, "I have never been more proud of anyone on this planet - this guy is fighting back from a whirlwind of injuries and not to mention constant 'conversation' regarding our marriage and basically any daily decision we decide to make."
The actress previously dated her "Big Bang Theory" co-star Johnny Galecki for roughly two years until December 2009. She became engaged to addiction specialist Josh Resnik in October 2011, but they ended their engagement by March 2012.
