Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra on Saturday conducted an aerial survey of Kota division, which is facing a water logging problem due to heavy rainfall recently, according to an official statement.
After the survey, he sanctioned Rs 50 lakh from the governor's fund for the rescue and relief works being carried out in the division and assured officials that there will be no dearth of funds to tackle the situation, it said.
Mishra also held a meeting with officials and asked them to motivate NGOs and other social organisations to help the affected people, the statement said.
The governor also directed the administration to take all possible measures for providing clean drinking water to people, supplying medicines and fogging, the statement said.
