The final tasting session of the competition was held at Dubai yesterday,coinciding with Global Dubai Tea Forum.Seventy six short listed teas qualified for the first and second level screening to evaluate by a panel of International Jury, C Sreesdharan, Convener, Organising Committee, TGLIA-STC), said in a release today.
While Kanan Devan and Woodbriad won six awards each, Harrisons and Malayalam won four awards, Devon Plantation and Industries, Joonktolle Tea and Industries, Kodanad Estate, Vigneshwara Estate Tea Factory won three each, he said.
The certificates to the winners were distributed today, the concluding day of the Forum, Sreedharan said.
