Actor Karan Singh Grover has recorded a song and has plans to come up with an album soon.
"I have recorded one song which I've written too, it's in English. We will record the next one soon," Karan told PTI.
When asked if he plans to roll out a full fledged album, the actor said, "Yes, we are trying something. There are so many open minded people who are open to people from any field coming in and are not judgemental."
On being quizzed if his wife, actress Bipasha Basu, will also sing, the "Hate Story 2" star said they had "thought about it" and were "working on it."
Last night, the actor made his stage debut when he performed live with singer Mika Singh here.
"It was a very nice experience, I was overwhelmed to see so many people there. To be on stage with Mika, jamming with him and him liking you is just very encouraging... But I wasn't nervous at all. I was very excited. I've been training for a year."
The actor said he has always been passionate about singing and Bipasha encouraged him to take it professionally.
"I've been singing since I was a child, my dad used to play in a band, my brother is a musician, my aunt used to sing in a Gurudwara. So it's a musical family. Some times, things need more time and training.
"Bipasha used to listen to me sing in the bathroom. She encouraged me that if I am good at it, I should get trained and do it properly.
