After the chance of ends, Sporting continued to enjoy better ball possession and increased the lead in the 60th minute from a penalty after Wolfe was brought down by a rival defender and referee Maria Joseph awarded a penalty to Sporting, which the striker converted himself.
United SC retaliated and after missing a few chances pulled another goal back in the 70th minute when Sujay Oraon scored from top of the box with a left footer that found the roof of the net.
