The couple visited patients on behalf of the Dream Foundation, an organisation that fulfils the wishes of adults facing life-threatening illnesses, reported Contactmusic.
Perry, 28, and Mayer, 35, were joined in by the 'Wide Awake' hitmaker's family members. Perry's relatives also joined in the fun and it appeared that everyone had a good time.
"Gratitude to Katy Perry and John Mayer and Hudsons for rolling up their sleeves and serving our dream families. DreamTeam," posted bosses at the Dream Foundation on Twitter.
Besides spreading joy at the hopsital, the couple also spent some good time at Perry's family home in Santa Barbara.
