KB Biswas to hold charge of Chairman of CGWB

Government today appointed K B Biswas as officiating chairman of Central Ground Water Board (CGWB).
Biswas, who was working as a member of CGWB, will hold the charge for a period of three months or till a regular incumbent is appointed, whichever is earlier, a release issued by the Water Resources Ministry said.
Biswas succeeds R C Jain who retired on November 30.
